Wow, what a book! Two romances in one and two tough situations to overcome on the same plantation in two separate time periods.A modern Louisiana girl and her great-great grandmother, a young bride with the problems that went with a 14 year old newly married learning to run a plantation. When her great-great granddaughter inherits the plantation she has to deal with Katrina; but the both have the loves of their lives by their sides. I have to admit that I cried for a while and laughed a little, but enjoyed the whole experience.
