Jaq D Hawkins describes the lifting of the crates so well the reader can imagine their own involvement in the procedure. As the adventure includes a farmers daughter, a clerk asked to spy, a captured guard, and a mysterious vagabond the story moves right along through complications, and surprises to it's astonishing end.
